Mr. Bauer is a former senior sell-side trader whose experience was acquired as a Managing Director at Bear Stearns, H.C. Wainright, and Rochdale where he was responsible for trading equity products on behalf of large Institutional money managers, hedge funds and mutual fund companies as well as new business development. Trey has spent his career as a professional securities trader and co-founder of financial services companies.
Prior to joining Dalzell Trading, he co-founded Grand Cul-de-Sac Fund L.P, a real estate investment company specializing in buying, renting and selling residential properties for accredited investors. His responsibilities varied from company formation and build-out, to asset raising, marketing and project management. During this time, he also worked as a consultant with privately held companies in sales, marketing and strategic direction.
Mr. Bauer graduated from The Pennsylvania State University with a Bachelor of Arts in Speech Communication. He attended the Smeal College of Business, becoming the first business graduate student to also play football at Penn State. He was voted Captain of the 1987 team, was a three-year starter, and 1986 National Championship team member. He was also voted to play in the Senior Bowl after the 1987 season and was voted Captain of that team. Mr. Bauer holds the following FINRA registrations: Series 24, 7, 57/TP, and 63.
